A "good guy" with a gun stops a bad guy.
Missouri shopper shoots, kills armed robber holding knife to clerk's
neck.
"I walked up to the door and I saw him with a knife to her throat. She
was emptying out the cash register and I took a step in and peeked my
head in to ask if everything was okay. I couldn't see his face, but he
was saying yes, but I could see her face she was saying no, she was
scared," he continued.
According to the gun owner's account of events, Bush then ran from
around the counter to attack him before he fired four shots, dropping
him to the ground.
"Taking somebody's life is not an everyday thing, neither is saving
someone's life," the customer told local outlets.
I will add three things ---
1) Don't take a knife to a gun fight.
2) When seconds count LE is only minutes away - if you can get to a
phone and use it.
3) I hope this becomes a common occurrence.
Oops. With that #3, you just threw raw meat into the cage of our
resident hairsplitters, nitpickers, and controversialists.
Screw them. In the big scheme of things their opinions aren't worth two
hoots in hell, with both of them already hooted. We have the SC on our
side properly interpreting the 2nd.
To paraphrase Jordan Peterson: They need to learn how to, and keep,
their room/ neighborhood/ city clean before they attempt to fix bigger
things - or, more likely, just whine about them.
The thoughts and fulminations against our "gun culture" by Progressive
Urban dwellers, mostly a despicable bunch of Low Rez mouth breathers,
living in a cess pool of filth and crime have as much impact as a bean
fart in a strong wind. A loud noise, but that is it.
When they can point to their backyards as positive models of crime free
bliss - they might have a case. Until then they can FOAD.
