A metal detector will not find (at least mine won't) a hearing aid
hiding amongst the leaves and twigs - but this will:

That is not a (Gasp!) theory. I literally lost my personal Phonak
amongst the literal leaves and twigs, and I literally found it with
LightBlue (not to be confused with BudLight) before the end of the day.
Another tip for outdoorsy folk - which is also not a theory:
Got some small something that you don't want to permanently lose out
in the boondocks? Stick some little pieces of retroreflective tape on
it, wait for darkrise, then hold a LED flashlight close to your eyes,
and sweep your backtrail. You will find it......unless a possum ate it
or a trickster coyote moved it.
One more thing for boondockers: A camouflaged flashlight or wallet are dumbassed ideas..........well..........maybe that's two things for hairsplitters and nitpickers and controversialists - of which we have
no shortage.

Theory don't mean squat if it don't work.
