We're looking at a South Padre Island trip. It's been on my
"Really want to..." list since we moved to Texas. Web search
says it's pleasant temperatures in the fall and early winter.

We just watched the latest "Roaming with Rosie" on YouTube,
which made me homesick for Florida.

Has anone here been there? Any recommendations?

I just got my power back over here in GA, so I think you should go and
maybe attract Tropical Storm Kirk over that direction so that I don't
have to suffer through another one so soon after I've almost got all
my laundry done. You may be homesick for FL, but I'm homesick for a
real hot shower.
