just because voters are registered as Democrats, not all are voting
for Democrat candidates.

That does puzzle me. When people were democrats 40 years ago, some in
the democrat party had at least half a brain but the party was already
on the verge of becoming what it is today. They should go ahead and
switch because it will be a cold day in hell before the democrat party
changes it's evil was.
