THE BOMB SONG
Oh, it's Sister Jenny's turn to throw the bomb
The last one it was thrown by Brother Tom
For Momma's aim is bad
And the Copski's all know Dad
So it's Sister Jenny's turn to throw the bomb
The song's name is "Sister Jenny's Turn to Throw the Bomb." It's a
fairly common folk tune. I know of at least one recording; it's on
a tape by Leslie Fish and in fact, is the title cut of said tape.
Firebird Records carries the tape, but in lieu of some lawsuits they're involved with, I wouldn't trust 'em for mail order; wait for the next
science fiction convention to come into town.

As best as I can find, the original title was The Bomb Song, author unknown, and the Sister Ginny / Sister Jenny title was applied to some popular re-recordings. I'm still looking for the original songwriter, if anyone comes across it. (Oldest known
source: Songfest, the Intercollegiate Outing Club Association book, edited by Dick and Beth Best, last published 1955.)
