Until I saw this video, I thought royalty collection services operated by Tunecore etc. were simply raising their revenues from suckers.

    Things really have changed.

Interesting video...but that video is only 1 of 3, the other 2 are at the presenter's site, and you'll only get to watch a small portion of them
before being required to provide your name and email address to see the rest...makes me suspicious - how do I or anyone else know that this isn't merely yet another fast talking used car salesman?

He does other videos on this theme which I saw and which you don't need to give such details.

He does other videos on this theme which I saw and which you don't need to give such details.

But during the 1st video, he did describe what sounded too much like
multilevel marketing (MLM) and he also seemed to be painting a picture, even
if only through implication, of a get rich quick scheme, naturally for those who attend his seminars and buy his material...without mentioning much of
any kinds of problems and such.

And considering the sorry state of Music nowadays, offhand, just by simple observation, I'd say there's something seriously wrong, which I'm sure
wouldn't bother him at all because like all the rest sucking the blood out
of the art form, all they care about is how much filthy lucre they can
    'milk' out of it.

Also, he kept talking about record labels, namely Arista, if I recall, and nothing of going Independent so I can't help but be cynical in suspecting
that he's totally establishment and his motives have nothing to do with improving the state of the art form.

So I'd be inclined, and recommend that others be too, to check out what he
has to say and then check the accuracy of what he has to say.
