    of "Negro music" and "jazz" and determined you stood little chance of popularizing the genres, allowing you to live in spite of those cultural blasphemies; however, one look at your tubby frame, your hideous

    Even a broken clock is right twice a day. You and I are usually
    on the same page, but I draw the line with the author of that
    particular book. I didn't recognize the paragraph you quoted, so
    I Googled the first sentence. I was quite dismayed when I clicked
    on the first link...
