I've just pull my Maton out of the wardrobe.
I have only played it a few times over the 25 years I've owned it.
I've always wondered how old it is and what model also, never been able to find it on the Maton site, so I sent Maton pictures and they said it was a Phil manning model and to my surprise, I'm totally stoked. They didn't tell me what year it could be or
what value it would be either.

If is still has the label the date can be derived from the serial
number. The three digits in brackets are month and year. My M300 is xxx
    (392) - March'92.
