Well I've listened to a couple of the later sonatas now and I
think it's an interesting find, so thanks again. What struck
me as special was the resonances. The way she's using
the pianos resonances -- also quite well caught on the
recording as far as I can tell from the youtube upload.
She was Neuhaus' student -- just like Richter. ;-)
I want the recording proper now!
Download it from YouTube.
Done it, split it up into separate sonatas,
the sound quality is good when played
through the Conrad Johnson and JR 149s.
Great! How about adding the index to the
YouTube page? This can be done in the
comments, no special permissions are
required.
This will certainly help widen Mme
Richter's audience.
Quiz: was there any other woman
pianist who was described by her
colleagues as "Mme Richter"?
