    I don't have a problem with Goebel and company. MAK seems genuinely musical even when they are fast. I almost never find them grating or irritating. I don't pretend to be an early music expert, so that may be the end of it. Happy to listen to them.

    His recording of the Bach violin sonatas with Robert Hill are the best IMHO.
