The idea of being "deeply moved" all day sounds rather
psychiatric to me.....
I like to experience some flavor of emotional engagement
and intellectual excitement. I would not go as far at to be
specific about the flavor. It all depends on the situation.
I prefer to listen to jazz while driving. It improves my
attention and my mileage -- sometimes by as much
as 30 mph! There are very few classical works I can
listen to while driving -- the most notable exception
being Iberia. I can listen to Iberia non stop all the
time every time of the day or the night, no matter
what else I am doing at the same time.
