    If you had checked the video Melmoth posted you would have seen it is a pretty desperate rehearsal of a junior orchestra and ditto conductor of P7, of which there are many excellent videos.
    That's why I said random video.

    I don't post "LP or CD titles" either. everybody on RMCR has plenty of those at home.
    Why would I tell people what to listen to?

    But there are some very good ones. This is just an example of how not to engage an orchestra.

    The last two symphonies of Prokofiev and Rachmaninov, 7 and 3, are faded swansongs, but quite underrated.
