    Searching for a live performance of Tales from the Vienna Woods I came across a concert by Andre Rieu on YT and gave it a whirl. To my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed it. Solid entertainment - all carefully stage managed but the large audience loved it.

    The spontaneous association of donkeys with Albania is certainly a form of prejudice. Speaking of the girls, the only men I could find in my brief search was Rebroff and a chorus of Don-Cossacks - a German and a bunch of Russians.

    Gayane suite and 2nd symphony of Khachaturian. Original and colourful, and way better than boring Respighi. Much underrated imho. So whether this is a confession I should be making I don't really know.

    I think the reference is to Don Magnifico's dream. Meanwhile, the vendetta is alive and well in Albania, and in Italy and elsewhere, Albanian criminal gangs make the Mafia look like a ladies' prayer meeting in Minnesota. My apologies to the entire
    population of Minnesota for these sexist allegations about their fair state ...
