    The very first piano recital I attended was of Tamas Vasary, in 1961 or
    1962, when he toured the UK.
    That was not long after my first orchestral concert, Ancerl and the
    Czech Philharmonic.
    Not a bad start.

    A very good start!

    In 1956 Vasary won sixth prize in Brussels. It was the year of Ashkenazy, Browning, Czajkowski, Ousset a.o. Since then I've been following him.
