Was this popular in England ? I can't imagine it was, anywhere.
In a letter from December of 1981, Dudley Moore offered a bit of
insight: Peter Cook and I recorded that song about the time when
there was so much fuss about L.S.D. The exciting alternative offered
to the world was L.S.B.!, and I wrote the music to, in some ways,
satirize the Beach Boys rather than the Beatles.
Apparently this track appears on some Beatles bootlegs;
but you would have to be very naive to think that this track
was by the fab 4; at 1:39 "Dudley M" is in the lyrics.
