    First attempted in 1956 but perfected at a January 1957 session at Sun this is probably reckoned to be his greatest unreleased recording. Certainly voters in the Unreleased Battle ten years ago thought so--enough to crown it Champion of that epic battle

    One of the greatest tracks still left in the can when it came to compiling the "Tear It Up" LP in 1969

    10. LOVE’S ALL I’M PUTTING DOWN, The Spiders (1954)

    They had some great unreleased tracks but IMO none better than this one. Recorded March 11 1954

    11. ROCK THE JOINT THIS MORNING, Hal Paige (1955)

    Thanks go to Diane for her nomination of this for the Unreleased Battle---one of my very favorites in the contest

    20. MILKSHAKE MADEMOISELLE, Jerry Lee Lewis (1958)

    One of the best unreleased JLL tracks recorded January 1958 (same session as "Down The Line"). Unreleased until 1974 (first appearance on a French compilation)

    35. HE’S THE FAT MAN, The Hawks (1954)

    One of my favorite tracks on the Steve La Vere produced 1968 LP "End Of An Era : Rhythm & Blues Vol. 1" compilation released on Imperial (in US) and Liberty (in UK) in 1968. What a terrific collection that was!

    36. BOP PILLS, Macy Skipper (1957)

    Apparently Brad Suggs supervised this one off Skipper session with Sun (and played on it too).
