"The Deeps" appeared at a command performance for the Queen of
England on Nov 3, 1952 at the London Palladium: https://www.royalvarietycharity.org/royal-variety-performance/archive/detail/1952-london-palladium

and they recorded in London a special birthday greeting for Her Royal
Highness, Princess Margaret (the Queen's sister), which was played at
a party given in honor of her birthday at Balmoral Castle in
Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Info from the back of a 1963 album cover: https://i.discogs.com/qA3p04R-ByWWQq2jMJc1oYavTIF9OkXWJHpNpWezMWo/rs:fit/g:sm/q:90/h:600/w:600/czM6Ly9kaXNjb2dz/LWRhdGFiYXNlLWlt/YWdlcy9SLTkwNDg0/ODctMTQ3Mzg3MTU3/MS0xNTA4LmpwZWc.jpeg

from left to right as you see them,

Jimmy Lundy, tenor

Harry Douglas, lead, baritone

Al Bishop, 2nd lead, bass

an inspired post, Bruce, intentional or otherwise, bringing to light
the enjoyable late 50s/early 60s studio and live recordings of the
then current Deep River Boys

Apart from their 1948 US hit "Recess In Heaven"........

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_t3wEijT8g

.....I believe the boys only charted once more---in 1956 and here in the UK----where their locally recorded cover of "That's Right" (originally by The Mills Brothers and also recorded by The Five Keys) reached #29 on the NME chart

The group appeared regularly on BBC radio here as well as presenting a regular show for awhile on Radio Luxembourg
