  • Vinyl Record cleaning??

    Just curious what everyone here uses for cleaning their Vinyl records
    these days?

    . start off with high-pressure air
    . apply soap, shower gel, glass cleaner, and/or furniture polish
    . rinse with tap water and dry with paper towel
    if your vinyl record still has significant surface noise:
    . use steel wool or hard-bristle brush along with acetone or any
    cleaning product that contains alcohol

    whilst perfecting this method, you should practice with records that
    are of little value, just to be on the safe side :-)

    in this newsgroup we have two very experienced and highly rated
    sellers of new and used 45s who might suggest other methods

    or you could try Google and/or Bing Chat

    Ill have a look at the reviews that you mentioned. From what I was
    told, it should be a pretty decent option for what I need it for.
    As I mentioned before, Ill post some photos once it arrives.
