newsreader (eg Mozilla Thunderbird) allows filters to be set?
Most of us are using highly modified spamassassin setups, tied in to our
nntp servers.
The best thing for an end user is to use a nntp server from a provider
that filters, then you might only need to add a couple of minor filters to
your T-Bird setup to meet your individual preferences.
