SPONTANEOUS LUNACY VERDICT: 7/10Very routine. Just a 5 for me
Wonder if anyone sent him that "Please Dr Jive" he asked for? I've never seen or heard it (it's one of the last single releases on Coral's gospel series).
Some dispute over the flip which I've often seen listed as "Secret Love". If that is correct it can't be THE "Secret Love" as the Doris Day hit wasn't written till 1953.
But I think Global Dog may well be right with their listing as "Secret LOVER"

I think it's excellent, an 8.

The copies I've seen had the flip that Samp listed.
But when you look at the particulars of this song – and one released simultaneously by fellow rock saxman, Hal Singer, Please Dr. Jive, on Coral Records
(if anybody has a copy of this and wants to send it here – and a label scan – to be reviewed via the e-mail address at the bottom of every page, I’d greatly
appreciate it as it’s one of many early rock sides unavailable in the current landscape)

The copies I've seen had the flip that Samp listed.I must have missed something.
This was the mention that I saw Samp make of the record
