    In spite of my wealth and fame
    From the States I'll be tossed

    Jerry jerked me around
    There has been no shift; a shame
    Fed'ral agents abound

    The revolution never came
    All reformers are felled
    Guerrillas weren't on their game
    The longed-for coup is quelled

    The revolution never came
    I'm blitzed on coke and booze
    In need of a bunch to blame
    I gibe against the Jews

    The revolution never came
    Radicals had no clue
    Reformers I'll now defame
    I'm tired of Yoko, too

    The revolution never came
    Nixon's got four more years
    At solace in sex I aim
    At a lady I leer
