No. When Lennon's friend Richard Ross (owner of the NYC rock & roll-themed restaurant Home) was dying of cancer, Lennon stopped hanging out with -- though he hated himself for doing so according to John Green.

Sadly, Zak Nilsson didn't make it; he died in 2021.

Or a song like Hey Jude, for Julian? I don't think so...

Paul goes out of his way for others.

The more I dig into the Beatles breakup, the more I see Paul as the one who cared, not only about what was happening to them and their families, but also to us, their fans...I am so grateful for that...

The way John left Cynthia is also completely unconscionable. Even allowing for his drug-impaired thinking and Yoko's exploiting of his paranoia, it's impossible to respect the way Lennon went about that.

And even in that case, it was McCartney who showed up to give Cynthia and Julian sympathy, even trying to cheer Cynthia up by jokingly offering to marry her.

Harry's sensibilities more aligned with Paul in my opinion yet he craved the idolization and approbation of John and that was his undoing. Even later on when he moved on to Ringo who sas living deep in the bottle at the time, Harry never regained his
    creative traction.
I wish he had spent more time with McCartney. His self-destructive urges might have been better deflected.

    It's an interesting thought.

I remember reading that Lennon had Harry pay a visit to Dr. Hong in San Mateo, the Chinese herbal/acupuncture doctor who had gotten John and Yoko off methadone. Lennon had Keith Moon accompany Harry. When Moon reappeared, thoroughly inebriated, Lennon
demanded to know if Harry was feeling any better. "No, but he's full of holes," Moon answered.
