    The Ray Davies review of Revolver was mixed (he loved "I'm Only Sleeping" and HT&E but scorned "Yellow Submarine" & Elanor Rigby), but the same article quotes Eric Clapton raving about how great everything on the album is.

    Clapton added, however, that: "If I was sure that everything George Harrison played was his own ideas, I'd say he was good. But I've got this feeling it's Paul telling him what to do."

    Possibly was 'just as well' then. But we'll never know that, or what the alternative result may have been.
