    I am unable to listen to anything Paul wrote without John...

    That would be about half of The Beatles music and a hell of a lot else
    that you are doing yourself a disservice with by avoiding.

    He has tons of great solo songs. But (sensitive topic alert) can he still do the vocals?

    There is a video of a gig in 2012 recently posted with his voice
    decidedly poor. He was much better than that in 2017, so who knows.

    Voice may be overall weaker (probably is) , but also an up-and-down
    thing relating to wear and tear in that particular day/weak/month/tour.
