    Yes, there are left-handed trumpets. Recently saw two high school trumpets players using left-handed trumpets. Weird thing is, one of the two was using his right hand to operate the valves. Google search revealed a number of such instruments, displayed
    side by side with right-handed trumpets for comparison . On the high end Monette makes left handed trumpets (see utube video).
