All through my life it seemed a launch to space so seldom came along
That passing up a chance to watch one go was every kind of wrong.
It's good/bad to know for sure that I'm not the only one that feels
like that. All our lives we wanted a real space age, and now we have
the beginnings of one. As I once put it in a different context, "To
get what you want is the end of your dreams".
Thank you for the song, itself, and thank you for stating so well
some of the ambivalence I feel.
