It's good/bad to know for sure that I'm not the only one that feels
like that. All our lives we wanted a real space age, and now we have
the beginnings of one. As I once put it in a different context, "To
get what you want is the end of your dreams".

Now no one seems to care.

The ULA are proud today with sixteen launches yearly, peak;
A Falcon 9, though, makes the climb at something more like once a week.

Another SpaceX Starlink launch day
Where the Saturns used to stand;
Network top talent used to broadcast live,
But the stories now all are canned.

Clearly conquered goals
Can often numb the soul
And make it hard for us to see;
But then my thoughts all stray
Back to another day
And then I'm glad for it to be
