Has anyone here in the states seen any CDs from DG's Classikon (sp?) label? >As I understand it, a few titles were released in Europe back in September but
I cannot find any of them here in the Seattle area. Were these non-US releases?
A few weeks ago I saw the first 25 releases (of the planned 100) in a CD store in Helsinki. Here in the Netherlands, the Classikon CDs haven't been released (yet?). Interesting items, though. As far as I know, a part of the recordings have been issued before in the Resonance and Galleria series. For other titles, it's their first re-issue. - fine recordings (I bought the highlights from Kleiber's La Traviata), nice booklets, good documentation, but
awful covers.
Hugo.
