  • unusually for RMH, a question about a HD motorcycle...

    My wallet's on the bar, I'll get a round in.

    Does anyone know off hand if RDRS system was available on the 2019 Road
    King Special (either standard or as an option), or did it not appear
    until 2020?

    And if it was an option, is there a simple way of identifying that a
    bike has it fitted?

    Off hand, I think it first became available on certain 2020 models.

    If RDRS is present, the upper half of the horn switch toggles the traction control.

    Off hand, I think it first became available on certain 2020 models.

    I had a feeling it was an option on some 2019 bikes then became standard
    on some in 2020

    Thanks Tom, really helpful. An easy wasy to find out without trying to
    fall off and failing :-)

    Though the changes of me opening my wallet are slim, I've seen a nice
    bike that the vendor claims is a 2020 model year and I'm sure it's a
    2019, even though it wasn't bought until 2020
