I can honestly say I've never seen a 4speed clutch come off the
mainshaft that was correctly installed and not abused. And that likely >>>> is the reason for Rivera's attitude. It's not like an '87 4 bolt POS.

What was the fundamental problem anyway? I toasted a stock Harley
clutch once from doing 20 yard dirt drags with my FLHT, and when I
opened it up I saw why. It was made to fail under hard use. Replaced
it with a Barnett racing clutch and never had another problem.
