I got the bike from a buddy and it didn't have a throttle cable. And I can't seem to find one anywhere. I don't really need the dual cable since the previous owner took out the autolube pump and it's long gone. So would I be able to use an it175 cable as
    a replacement?

rockymountainatv.com has both sections in stock. Your bike is probably
    a 1978 - DT175E. They didn't make a 175 in '77

Well that definitely clears things up a lot. Thanks! Since I no longer have the oil pump though is there any single cable I can get? Or do I have to stick with the dual?

Probably but you'd have to dig around to find it. In
the old days you could go to a dealer and ask to match it
but dealers don't carry any stock these days to compare to.

You can check with Motion Pro. They'll make you one if necessary.
There is a shop here in Clevo that still does that too, you could
try a custom bike shop and see if they have the bits to do it.
