I planted them 4yrs in a row but could never find new seeds. A fantastic tomato: slightly acidic with strong "old fashioned" flavor. I saved seeds from the last picking so still grow them. Very good germination rate from saved seeds. I LOVE THIS TOMATO.
I hate getting some seeds, loving the outcome and then not being able to
ever find the seeds again. One of these was Oliver Brussels Sprouts. Another
is Lutz Green Leaf Beets.
But for tomatoes, I have managed to stick with heirloom varieties. New one
from last year is a Polish heirloom variety that came to this country (supposedly) in the early 1900's called Opalka (Solanum lycopersicum). Named after the family that brought them here. Very meaty, dry and few seeds.
I got a drop tomato from my neighbor and have had an 100% germination rate
this year.
