I've known of Randy Fromm since the 1970s (I think we met once at an
AMOA show) and can only say how much he helped folks in learning how to
fix games - both in ways to solve problems and solutions thereof. He had regular columns in trade magazines and as such I believe he was well
respected in the community.
I would expect his class to be of good value for beginners and hobbyists
in the field of arcade game service.
