  • Wintermute: Come play in the MUD

    I have been looking to get ahold of someone who knows what happened to this mud forever. I am looking to try and get a copy of it so I can host and play it myself. I played the mud for years and I would love to get on again

    hey man I have been looking for years for the source code for this mud so I cn play it again, is it hosted anywere or is there some were I can get a hold of someone who has it?

    Taerin/Ming passed away in hs sleep quite unexpectedly and suddenly 2016. I played on wintermute and previous version since the 90s, but unfortunately never thought to grab a copy of the codebase. Ditto that with a spawn Melkor did The UnderWorld which
    stuck with the Sillymud base... disappeared.

    Coincidentally, I booted up Sillymud 1.2 on my server last week and may think of opening it up to the public.
