    Hi Guys

I'm new to the game. How do I pick up things I find? I'm also using a screen reader, jaws for windows to play, how do I pick up things I find like daggers?

I use roguelike keys, for me it is a comma ','.

You can press a quesstion mark '?' to get a help menu,
but people here may know the non-roguelike key setup.

    Welcome!

The command to pick up things is ',' (the comma).

The (help-)command '?' gives you a list of help items, including one
for the commands. It is useful to quickly get to see all existing
commands (the keys and key combinations and what they do) while
    playing the game.

I suggest to consult The Guidebook that comes with the game package
as well; you get a good overview and all necessary details.

But, frankly, I have to experience with screen readers and what fits
best here, so feel free to come back for other details you want to
    know.
