[slashem] Weaponry for a killer Samurai

Usually my weaponry gets enchanted to +6 or more rarely to +7. (I think
the chances are 67% and 33% respectively.) And I don't bother doing any
tricks to reduce a +6 weapon enchantment for yet another try to get it
to +7.
In my last Slashem game I got (from sacrifices or from random findings)
an abundance of excellent artifact weapons, mostly long swords that are
even the primary choice for a Samurai. I have got the Firebrand and the Frostbrand, in theory an impressive combo for Samurai's two-weaponing
of artifacts. But I stashed them away and continued with
a - the blessed rustproof +8 Excalibur (weapon in hand)
Z - the blessed rustproof +7 Sword of Justice (wielded in other hand)
They happen to get the rare +7/+7 enchantment, and by crowning one got
even that additional point of enchantment to become +8. Together with
my Expert proficiency in long swords and two-weaponing this was really
an amazing combo.
As trophies stashed in my bag came Firebrand, Frostbrand, the Tsurugi
and Sting, and I left back some "wimpy" weapons like a +7 silver sabre,
the Sunsword, Snickersnee, Orcrist, and Skullscrusher, only to become unstressed.
Many games will be necessary now to re-adjust to the usual "toothpicks"
that my characters are often equipped with, and I expect quite a couple
of deaths until I can mentally enter normal-mode again.
