This is a strange post. - What is that supposed to mean?
If I look into my file system I see ~/EvilHack_083/.git
which indicates that there's a Git repository somewhere.
It should be easy to make Google find that resource; use
(for example) the keywords: evilhack git repository
How come that zip file doesn't contain an executable?
I don't know what you are referring to by "that zip file".
Generally speaking; an archive package may contain anything
the person who packaged it wanted to be in the package.
Typically you find source packages containing the components
to build the tools (libraries, executables) yourself from
the source code with standard tools in your environment.
Or you find runtime packages that contain for a specific
runtime environment the executable and all necessary runtime
and configuration files.
What I have on my system is obviously a git clone of the
Evilhack project. That means that with the URL found on the
Net I issued locally a 'git' command to obtain an image of
the source files in my file system, and could then proceed
to compile that source (as with an unpacked source package).
If you're looking for a pre-compiled executable you'll have
to use the appropriate keywords in your search. Then you'll
see whether one exists in the first place. Otherwise you'll
have to compile one from the sources.
If you just want to play EvilHack then I suggest to play it
on a public server using some telnet or ssh client software.
Hope that helps to identify your demands and to proceed.
But please, next time, spend more effort in formulating your
needs and problems more accurately that we don't get the
impression that our support is just a waste of time. Thanks.
