I'd find it convenient if the controlled level-port would accept
(in addition of an absolute level number) also a level-delta as
input (using +/- specifiers).
It's no biggie; but being able to choose "+1" to target the next
level and "-2" to skip the previous level (in addition to, say,
"5" without sign in case you want the absolute level 5) would be
quite useful and the code change should certainly be simple.[*]
Does any variant support that?

[*] The only (IMO not very relevant) "drawback" would be that in
'Wizmode' the level-ports for the end-game Planes could not be
addressed as ("absolute" levels) "-1".."-5" any more. To support
Wizmode tests with absolute level addressing identification of
the Planes would require a [also simple] change, unless you'd
accept to use in Wizmode just relative level-teleports for the
endgame Planes, which should certainly suffice.
