Found an armor shop - about 3 mimics in it, lots of xp for a lvl 4
priest. The shopkeeper had me drop my dwarvish mattock. which I put
right outside the door.
While I'm taking out the first mimic a hill orc walks in with my
dwarvish mattock. Now a hill orc isn't much to look at but arm him with
the best weapon there is and he'll smash your priest into dust.
Makes me think twice about leaving my pick out front of the shop, and
also why a priest is even carrying a mattock too.
To rub salt in the wound, everything the hill orc did with the weapon
was about "his" mattock. That's my mattock!
