• [nndnh] Can rings charged from sacrifices destroy my (artifact) ring?

From Janis Papanagnou@21:1/5 to All on Sat Aug 17 01:24:42 2024
I'm regularly sacrificing corpses on my god's altar and occasionally
I get the effect that my worn artifact ring, Lomya, gets an additional
charge. It's meanwhile at +5 and I wonder whether some future divine
charge may blow up that ring.

No, for two reasons: artifacts cannot be destroyed by overcharging (they
will just revert to +0), and your god won't destroy your items by overenchanting/overcharging anyway.
