    I think the guy was trying to figure out at what floor level he's going
    to take out the Minetown priest in the event of no altars found in
    Dungeons of Doom. Around floor 10 it becomes feasible, around floor 20
    it becomes practical and around 30 you just passed Moloch's altar. It
    will be 20 for me unless I have a wand of fire. Lugh

    At some point it's easier to get a powerful pet to do the dirty job
    for you. And you won't get any in-game penalties (loss of luck, ESP,
    bad alignment) for that.

    Or a =oC steering a nice *trice (or another deadly foe).
