Hi everyone,

Clan registration for the November NetHack Tournament (TNNT) is now
open. The tournament proper will open up on November 1st at 00:00 UTC.

TNNT is played with a special tournament-specific variant of the current version of NetHack (3.6.7, this year) -- the basic gameplay is the same
as vanilla, but there are various new additions in the form of optional branches and challenges, as well as a couple special unique items. A
massive number of in-game achievements, ranging from easy to very
challenging, are tracked, as well as player- and clan-based trophies and leaderboards.

Being in a clan or team is absolutely not required to have a good time
(nor do you need to be particularly competitive -- there's a lot of
stuff to do even if you never check the standings on the website), but
if you do want to form a clan, you can start doing that now in advance
of the tournament start.
