One of the most popular features of Frets On Fire is the career mode, where you can progress through different levels of difficulty and unlock new songs and venues. But did you know that you can also play Rock Band 2 songs in Frets On Fire career mode?
Here's how to do it.

Step 1: Download the Rock Band 2 Songs Pack
The first thing you need to do is to download the Rock Band 2 songs pack for Frets On Fire. This pack contains all the songs from the original Rock Band 2 game, converted to Frets On Fire format. You can find the download link here: https://www.

Once you have downloaded the pack, unzip it and copy the folder named "Rock Band 2" to your Frets On Fire songs directory. The default location for this directory is C:\Program Files\Frets on Fire\data\songs, but you may have installed it elsewhere.



Step 2: Edit the song.ini Files
The next step is to edit the song.ini files for each song in the Rock Band 2 folder. These files contain information about the song title, artist, album, year, genre and difficulty. You need to edit these files to make them compatible with Frets On Fire
career mode.

To edit the song.ini files, you can use any text editor like Notepad or Notepad++. Open each file and look for the line that says "frets = ". This line determines the difficulty level of the song in Frets On Fire. You need to change this line to match
one of the following values:


frets = easy
frets = medium
frets = amazing
frets = supaeasy
frets = supamedium
frets = supaamazing

Step 3: Enjoy Rock Band 2 Songs in Frets On Fire Career Mode
Now you are ready to play Rock Band 2 songs in Frets On Fire career mode. Launch Frets On Fire and select "Career" from the main menu. You will see a new option called "Rock Band 2" under the list of available careers. Select it and start rocking out!

You can play Rock Band 2 songs in any order you like, as long as you meet the minimum number of stars required to unlock each level. You can also switch between guitar, bass and drums at any time by pressing F5. And if you want more challenge, you can
enable modifiers like HOPOs, star power or whammy by pressing F6.
