  • 1E Cover Question

    How many different covers did they have for 1E AD&D? I can remember three - the Trampier (first cover), the Easley (second cover) and the brown covers that had pictures from the Trampier covers in the middle. Were there reprints for one of the
    anniversaries?

    The brown ones are the only reprints I'm aware of. You've got all the 1e DMG ones listed.

    The brown ones are the only reprints I'm aware of. You've got all the 1e DMG ones listed.
    Thanks. The reason I asked was because I saw a PHB for sale on ebay. It had a black cover with artwork in the center,
    and all it said on the cover was "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Player's Handbook" Apparently, it was for 2E, not 1E.

    Sometimes the dark green of the Premium 2e covers looks black in photos.
