    No doubt you've heard of how Nona Gaprindashvili is suing Netflix.

    Here's another news story from the world of women's chess:

    Given the very limited commercial appeal of chess in general, and
    women's chess in particular (as opposed, say, to women's beach
    volleyball) I suppose FIDE must take sponsors where they can find
    them...

    but I hardly need to describe what women who play chess well must
    be thinking of this...

    I have since learned that the article on Chess.com seems to have mischaracterized the business of Establishment Labs. Instead,
    they help women obtain breast reconstruction after a mastectomy
    for cancer, which makes them a legitimate medical supplier. This
    is noted on the FIDE web site.
