  • Unusual positions tend to be difficult

    I expect that people (perhaps even Stick) will find this problem very difficult. That doesn't mean no one will get it right.
    Maybe lots of people will get it right. But I would be really
    impressed and surprised if someone got this right and was utterly
    confident about it.

    I think this is a take. X's priority will be to cover his blot if he
    can, so for example if he rolls a 7, I think he will cover rather than
    hit. Nine rolls fail to cover, and even some of the covering rolls give
    O some return shots. If X does cover, O can still enter and have some
    winning chances because of the close race and O's good board.

    But covering and dancing looks like a market loser so I would double.
