It would seem the "Jews" have been there a long time with lots of really challenging attempts to eradicate them completely.

Things do change, of course ... how about "natives" in lots and lots of
other places. Close to home too.

Still no comments ... how about those "Roman Catholics" ... I was
actually raised in the RC church. Jesuit high school. Tried Episcopal
folks too ... Catholic-light ... twice the fun with half the guilt.
Unitarians were quite interesting ... a little too political for me.
Almost all people, religious or not, fall into all sorts of slots.

Can any "one" group really be the "only" correct one?

No. But they might well all be wrong

If you mean religious, the answer is not at all, although I do hang around with a number of UU's.

Would you consider UU's as "religious"? How about MAGA? Why or why not
for both? Or the Romans in the really old days? Genghis Khan
followers? Others of interest? Hippies? Jim Jones folks? Big Bang believers?

    UU - Some.
MAGA - Not as such, although there is a lot of overlap with evangelicals. Romans - Yes
    Yes - as animists
    Hippies - perhaps
    Jim Jones followers - yes
Big Bang is a scientific theory, so any religious belief is independent of that. However, a lot of disbelief of the theory is because of religious belief.

How confident are you in your "beliefs" as being the "truth"?

How confident are you in your "beliefs" as being the "truth"?

Fairly confident that they are the best model of reality at present. Anyone who is absolutely sure of anything outside the realm of some Mathematics is deluding themselves.

You have shown you have strong mathematical skills, Tim (except for the
Say Red slip), but you do seem to express an almost religious belief in
your political pronouncements as well as other areas not subject to mathematical calculation. You might ponder your commitment to those ideas.

Pure Mathematics is the only venue in which you can actually prove things beyond all reasonable doubt.
Another dodge of the actual subject ... you are becoming "predictable".

"all" "reasonable" "doubt" and of course "prove" ... (and all the other
"words" you use). "venue" ... ??? ... really?

The "word" "table" is NOT a table. It is just a description of an
expression of a belief of a "thing".

Just like 1+1=2 and 1+1=10 are both correct ... but only if the teller
and the listener are on the same "page" of the "conversation".

Often, people "like" you sometimes make a mistake and do not want to
simply admit it but rather like to just change the "words" around to
avoid the "obvious" MISTAKE you have made.

Religious people are able to do that too ... your "belief" system allow
you to remain "true" to your owe "beliefs" even when you are challenged.

Answer the door, the Jehovah Witness is at the front with a pamphlet.

[They actually have some really interesting ideas ... all religious
folks I know have some really interesting ideas. But you have to not be
so preoccupied with your own perfection to listen to the words and
comprehend the ideas behind the words they choose.]

    Arrogant, plus an idiot.

As predicted. You describe yourself ... arrogant ... idiot.

You simply will not listen ... just blab ... like some others.

    Arrogant, plus an idiot.
As predicted. You describe yourself ... arrogant ... idiot.

You simply will not listen ... just blab ... like some others.

Maybe the earth is not "absolutely" round ... be careful about that sun watching stuff.

Tim does not like to have any of his ideas challenged.

I am "pretty" sure about that. He does seem to have great difficulty
accepting that he is not omnipotent. Maybe that is too harsh. My
    apologies, Tim.

Your never ending thread which has run off 90% of RGP participants shows you are both clinically insane. That said, Tim is correct and you are wrong.

And no, I won’t play you for $100 on a coin flip. And I will not engage in 5000+ stupid shit posts. JFC see a doctor.

Tim is not correct. The players exchange getting one coin ahead (or two
or three etc.) ... it would take infinity to get an infinite number
ahead, but that is not "likely" ... I showed him the math and he ran
again. The person that quits while he/she/it is "ahead" wins every
single time. In my bet, only "I" can quit. That is why you and Tim
will not play for a "meaningful" amount.

This is a gambling group and you (and Tim) do not want to really discuss
a simple gamble. You run and hide and call names. It is possible that "others" have left the group because Jerry and Tim and Blab have ruined
it. Politics ruined this "gambling" group.

[Will you admit that "you" are also as wrong as Tim about a simple bet?]
