That’s not fair because that higher rate under Trump was caused by Covid. It is impossible to quantify how much of that was caused by Trump’s incompetence and downplaying of the pandemic. But the truth is that the unemployment rate dropped
precipitously during the Obama administration and Trump rode that wave down a little more into the 3%+ range. Under Biden all the jobs lost during Covid were recovered and a lot more. Job growth has really been spectacular under Biden, considering the
Fed has been doing everything they can to cool the job market (I think there have been 11 or 12 consecutive rate increases without a reduction) in a panic to reduce the Trump inflation which peaked briefly at 9.1% in June of 2022.

All the major economic indicators have been by and large very good under Biden (especially under the circumstances) but the right (largely through Fox Fake News and similar outlets) has been very effective at conning the public to believe the contrary,
and the Biden administration has been AWFUL in their messaging with respect to getting the real economic story across.

    Trump's Numbers

    Snopes: What's True

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the country's unemployment rate
dropped to 3.5% in fall 2019 - the lowest rate in about 50 years, since >> December 1969.

Then the CHINESE virus was released and the Democrats went ape-shit, locking
    everything down.

    What's False

No evidence shows Biden or his administration's fiscal or regulatory policies
caused the 3.50 UNemployment rate. Rather, the unemployment rate was steadily
declining as part of the country's overall recovery from the Great China and
    Democrat Reset.

Let's compare EMployment numbers... not UNemployment. UNemployment is not a
very good gauge of ANYTHING regarding jobs, because millions of people don't
file for UNemployment, but EMployment numbers is fixed.

It's easy to know how many people ARE working vs. those who are not, because
many people never file and never re-enter the jobs market.

    Fact.

"We have the highest number of people working in our country, in the history of
our country, almost 160 million people."

    Can Biden say that?

    Nope.

Four in 10 Americans say they've gotten worse off financially since Joe Biden
became president, the most in ABC News/Washington Post polls dating back 37
years. Political fallout includes poor performance ratings for Biden and a
tight hypothetical Biden/Trump rematch next year.

Nobody needs statistics to understand that life under Joe Biden is a disaster.
That's just something MAGAs have to say to prove their MAGA-tude.

    Its now retribution-tude, not MAGA-tude.

One trip to the market, gas station, etc proves that.
    Bullshit.
Many are working 2 and 3 jobs just to make ends meet.
Bullshit with not a shred of support.
