    How Republicans turned on the FBI

    Former President Donald Trump wants to “defund” the FBI and Department of Justice.

    Republicans, alleging the FBI and DOJ have been weaponized against
    them, have held hearings featuring disgruntled former agents and are
    also gaming out ways to restrict funding for the federal law enforcement agency.

    Now Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor who is running for president, has pledged to fire the FBI director on his first day in office.

    US Attorney General Merrick Garland tells Republicans defunding FBI would be 'catastrophic'

    Garland told a House committee on Wednesday that Republican threats
    to defund the FBI would be "catastrophic" if carried out and that the
    Justice Department did not exist to do anyone's political bidding.

    Garland pushed back against Republican lawmakers who have criticized
    the Department of Justice for its handling of the indictments of
    Republican former President Donald Trump and Democratic President
    Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden.

    The Republicans fired James Comey, Andrew Mccabe, Peter Strzok and
    several other high level FBI Executives because they were dishonest liars
    and because they helped implement the whole fabricated "Russia Collusion Hoax. You remember that Gas Bag? The three straight years of false, fabricated
    lies told by Democrats and which came back to bite them in the ass when
    it was proven that it was all just a huge pile of lies initiated by Hillary Clinton's
    political campaign operatives.

    No one wants to defund the FBI you dim-bulb moron. They
    want to get rid of the crooked, left wing pro-Democrats political
    operatives who have been using the FBI as a political weapon
