• Biden building the wall now

From jack roth@21:1/5 to All on Thu Oct 5 09:03:22 2023
Oh how they attacked Trump for building a wall going out of their way to deny funding....having federal judges give injunctions...demorats labeling him a racist.
Now we have Biden bypassing a couple down laws to build the same wall. But, suddenly it's ok because it's a democrat doing it.

Libtards beleve in nothing and will say or do anything.

Your President Biden used Executive Orders to OVERRIDE Trump and Texas laws that
PREVENTED building the wall. “PREVENTED building the wall.” Republicans WANT illegals
    coming across.

Your President Biden took Trump’s 10% unemployment and ran it down to the lowest in 56-years.
Republicans NEED the illegals for their cheap labor and ability to cheat them. (I KNOW because
I was a cop and help INS raid GQP establishment and arrest the illegals). The more illegal the
better and easier to cheat. Easier to force 12-year old kids to work night shit cleaning up blood
and guts in their slaughterhouses because Treasonous Trump changed NLRB rules to prevent inspections.

    THE WASHINGTON TIMES

McALLEN, Texas (AP) — The Biden administration announced it waived 26 federal laws
in South Texas to allow border wall construction on Wednesday, marking the administration's first use of a sweeping executive power employed often during the
    Trump presidency.

The Department of Homeland Security posted the announcement on the U.S. Federal
Registry with few details outlining the construction in Starr County, Texas, which is
part of a busy Border Patrol sector seeing “high illegal entry.” According to government
data, about 245,000 illegal entries have been recorded so far this fiscal year in the Rio
Grande Valley Sector which contains 21 counties.

“There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and
roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful
entries into the United States in the project areas,” Alejandro Mayorkas, the DHS
    secretary, stated in the notice.

The Clean Air Act, Safe Drinking Water Act and Endangered Species Act were some of
the federal laws waived by DHS to make way for construction that will use funds from
a congressional appropriation in 2019 for border wall construction. The waivers avoid
time-consuming reviews and lawsuits challenging violations of environmental laws.

Starr County’s hilly ranchlands, sitting between Zapata and McAllen, Texas, is home to
about 65,000 residents sparsely populating about 1,200 square miles that form part of
the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge.

So there you have it, Biden critics! President Biden had no choice in this matter, because this is vital to our national security and he was required by law to build it now.

Do you not care about our national security? Well, the president does, so he’s just doing what has to be done. He broke no promise. He’s simply doing the job we elected him to do.

In the meantime hundreds of thousands illegals sneaked in through the border.

Not Biden's fault. And not all illegal. Each one seeking asylum is required, by law, to be taken before a judge. But Trump fired all the judges and Republican congressmen are blocking Biden from appointing new ones.

This benefits all those Republican corporations that love hiring illegals so they can cheat them. Which was the reason Trump and Texas made those 25 laws preventing the building of the wall.

Bravo. Suggest your superhero send KH to Central America again, to beg them to stop coming in.

To be fair, Pres. Biden does worry about national security.
At last, you addressed one of your errors.
    .

Otherwise he wouldn't be acknowledging the need to revert his own policy (or lack thereof) on the issue.
"His own policy or lack thereof." Which?
    .

    Better late than never.

    On which?
    .

Also to be fair, DHS Sec Mayorkas is trying to do his job (though his Pres saying before cameras that the wall
    is "No" effective. Oh well...)
Of course he's doing his job. No, 'to be fair' about it, or Presidential factual opinion.
    .
Besides that, there's no way you could defend this, Jerry.
Defend what? Or does that get another *** No reply noted *** too?

Defend this admin's incoherence at handling (or not handling at all) this issue, only to fall back to Trump's policy.

I think the remain in Mexico policy was in response to Covid, and Covid contributed greatly to the decrease in migration. I am just wondering if you attacked Trump for the 1,000,000+ who entered in 2019. I'm sure you must have, but I can't find it in the

I do not "like" Trump either. I voted for him only because of Hillary
and I would vote for him against Biden again. I am worried about what
is happening in our country. It "feels" almost like "communism and
fascism" might be our only choices. It is a bad feeling.

Israel declared war today (or yesterday) ... who knew.

I was reading about our economy and came across this:

“…what I learned is whatever successes I had in life had to do more with how I dealt with what I didn’t know than what I know…

“…the reason I did that book is because there are things that are
happening now that never happened in our lifetime before, and I want to
be like a doctor who knows many cases of those, but I have to go back
and see them in history in order to gain that perspective.

“…There are only a limited number of personality types going down a
limited number of paths, which lead them to encounter a limited number
of situations to produce a limited number of stories that repeat over time.”

“…So, the question is really the adaptability. Man has a great adaptability, but he — but by neglecting it, then there are
consequences… but how far it goes will be a test of man’s ability to
    adapt to it.”

    - Ray Dalio, in an interview with Barry Ritholtz

All empires fail ... but what arises is also important to consider.

We are losing the "idea" of democracy ... hopefully not in my lifetime.

    coming across.

    THE WASHINGTON TIMES

McALLEN, Texas (AP) — The Biden administration announced it waived 26 federal laws
in South Texas to allow border wall construction on Wednesday, marking the
administration's first use of a sweeping executive power employed often during the
    Trump presidency.

_______________

Do you not care about our national security? Well, the president does,

Israel declared war today (or yesterday) ... who knew.

I was reading about our economy and came across this:

“…what I learned is whatever successes I had in life had to do more with how I dealt with what I didn’t know than what I know…

“…the reason I did that book is because there are things that are happening now that never happened in our lifetime before, and I want to
be like a doctor who knows many cases of those, but I have to go back
and see them in history in order to gain that perspective.

“…There are only a limited number of personality types going down a limited number of paths, which lead them to encounter a limited number
of situations to produce a limited number of stories that repeat over time.”

“…So, the question is really the adaptability. Man has a great adaptability, but he — but by neglecting it, then there are consequences… but how far it goes will be a test of man’s ability to adapt to it.”

    - Ray Dalio, in an interview with Barry Ritholtz

All empires fail ... but what arises is also important to consider.

We are losing the "idea" of democracy ... hopefully not in my lifetime.

_______________

I think the remain in Mexico policy was in response to Covid, and Covid contributed greatly to the decrease in migration. I am just wondering if you attacked Trump for the 1,000,000+ who entered in 2019. I'm sure you must have, but I can't find
    it in the archives.
The "Remain In Mexico" policy was in response to the flood of illegals pouring into America. Trump was able to
negotiate it because he told the President of Mexico that unless he complied he (Trump) would put
the Drug Cartels on the International Terrorists List.

As for Trump - I do not like the guy. He is divisive and spends too much time attacking other Republicans
instead of just running on his record. However, I voted for him twice and would walk five miles in a rain storm
to vote for him again if he were running against Biden. BTW, if you have any real interest in learning
about Trump, I suggest reading "The United States of Trump" by Bill O'Reilly. It is factual and accurate.

I am sure I must be wrong, but I don't recall Mike calling out Trump when over 1,000,000 crossed the border illegally in 2019. Perhaps he can straighten me out on that.
Trump designed and implemented the "Remain in Mexico" policy
and reduced the number of illegals to the lowest level in years.
Biden eliminated the "Remain in Mexico" policy on his first day
in office. Now, under Biden's mentally diminished, disastrous
bumbling nearly eight million (8,000,000) illegals have flooded into America.
Along with tons of illegal drugs which has allowed Biden to set another record for the huge number of Americans that have died from drug
    overdoses on his watch..

If you vote for a Democrat you vote to destroy America.

    Irish Mike
Do you honestly think that Trump himself designed anything? By every single account, the White House staff couldn't get him to read a single page in the mornings.

Because the CIA briefings were all propaganda bullshit They are written by young analysts who are just trying to give their bosses whatever they want to hear.

That would be like believing Joe and Jill drew up the logistics of the Afghanistan withdrawal rather than career military leaders. Oh wait....they believe that too.

I don't know...I don't think that word applies to someone who gets a fact mixed up a couple of times a decade. It's actually a lot more appropriate for someone like you who is wrong about everything almost every day for decades on end.
