You do know that this (unexpected cardiac events in healthy athletes) happens about 50 times a year, don't you?

About 20 years ago, we had a 14-year-old die at a karate competition after a punch to the chest. It turns out that at a certain stage of development, some males can easily have their rhythm interrupted by a shock. It happens in high school baseball quite
    a few times a year.

Ya, that's these soft generations. When I was a kid, everyone was going around punching each other in the solar plexus just to watch it happen.

Especially the ones who take the poison death shot. Too bad they don't have a vax that would prevent moronic liberals from becoming brainwashed. You people would need a booster every day, though.

According to the various anti-vax loonies like Robert Kennedy and Dr. Moneypenny, vaccinated people should be dropping like flies. In reality, a recent demographic study shows that Republican voters were more likely to refuse vaccination, and have an
excess death rate much higher than Democratic voters who took it.

It's not there. It's being hit in the sternum. It has to happen at a specific time in the cardiac rhythm, and only seems to occur in teenaged males.

NPR is citing a legitimate study. In such a case, the outlet doesn't matter much.

Absolutely. Commotio cordis. It happened to Buffalo Bills
safety Damar Hamlin a year or two ago. The only reason he's
still alive is that there is a mobile ED at all NFL games.
